DAY 1

Welcome to Peru – Lima

Arrive at the Lima airport where our representative will greet you and private transfer to your hotel in Miraflores. If arriving in the evening you will spend the night at the airport hotel or if arriving in the morning or afternoon we will take you to Miraflores.

DAY 2

Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley – Awanacancha Llama Farm – Pisac ruins market

Transfer to the airport or if at the airport hotel walk to the nearby airport and connect to your flight to Cusco. Arrive in Cusco (3350 m.), the charming city where our staff will meet you and take you to the Sacred Valley where you can acclimatize faster due to the lower elevation. On the way, we will stop by the Sulca Center to see the adorable llamas and alpacas. We continue to the Inca ruins of Pisac for a delightful hike to the Inti Watana (Sun Temple), baths, altars, water fountains, and ceremonial platforms. After our visit, we will drive down to the town of Pisac for a stroll around the handicraft market where you can pick up some souvenirs. Enjoy a delicious lunch before or after your visit to Pisac. After a fantastic day, we will leave you at your hotel to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities.

DAY 3

Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley – Awanacancha Llama Farm – Pisac ruins market

This morning after breakfast, take a drive along the Vilcanota River to the colonial town of Maras for a visit. We continue driving around the mountain to the magical Salineras and gaze at the stunning scenery of the salt ponds staggered down the mountainside in terraces that are maintained and worked by the families of nearby communities. Our next visit takes us to the Moray circular terraces sitting on a high plateau. The circular depressions resemble an amphitheater and look like from out of this world. No one knows for sure what they were used for as there is a different hypothesis but the most popular theory is that the Incas used this site as an agricultural laboratory. We will have a delicious Peruvian lunch in Urubamba. After lunch, tour the Inca town of Ollantaytambo with its ruins which served as a fortress and temple. Visit the ceremonial center on top of the terracing and take pictures of the surrounding views. We will walk around town and admire the Inca design everywhere. Return to your hotel and relax.

DAY 4

Train Journey to Aguas Calientes – PM Machu Picchu Tour

Today sleep in and a late transfer to the Ollantaytambo station to board the train to Aguas Calientes enjoying the wonderful views. Get settled in your comfortable hotel and enjoy a lovely lunch before taking a ride on the shuttle bus to the magnificent Machu Picchu. Tour the mysterious Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. At last, you say! Enjoy a fantastic historical walking tour with your informative guide visiting the guard house, main temples, royal tomb, sacred plaza, and more. Appreciate the genius construction by the Incas and feel a positive energy that embraces Machu Picchu. After a marvelous unforgettable experience, exit the park and return to town to relax in your hotel.

DAY 5

Machu Picchu/Huayna Picchu or Montaña Hike Tour – Travel by train – Cusco

This morning at the agreed time with your guide set off to the nearby bus station and wait in line for your turn to board the shuttle bus to Machu Picchu, a 25-minute ride. Enjoy a hike to Huayna Picchu or Montaña for an exhilarating time in nature. After the thrilling hike, return to town and have lunch before boarding the train to the Ollantaytambo or Poroy station. Arrive at the train station where our driver will whisk you in private transport to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 6

Full Day Cusco City Tour

M Tour the charming city of Cusco walking around admiring the Inca and Colonial architecture. Walk to the 12 angle stone and take some pictures before walking up to San Blas the artist district to admire the art. Visit the Cathedral on the Plaza de Armas observing the beautiful alters and paintings. Stroll to the Qoricancha Sun Temple which was not only the most sacred site in the Inca belief but was considered the very centre of the Inca world. Then we will have a cultural visit of the San Pedro Market where the local people shop.
PM Enjoy a Peruvian delightful lunch. After lunch continue the fun and excitement. We will drive above Cusco for a visit of the White Christ where you will take spectacular pictures of the city of Cusco below. Then visit the well preserved ruins of Sacsayhauman with its massive, genius built walls which still remain today. Then off to the Qenko ruins which was possibly used for death rituals. Tour the Puka Pukara red fort. Our final visit will take us to Tambomachay the Inca baths possibly once used as a spa for the Inca ruler. Return to Cusco.

DAY 7

Cusco – Fly to Puerto Maldonado – Amazon 3 Days

This morning, transfer to the airport and fly to Puerto Maldonado. Our staff will greet you at the airport and join a 2 hours ‘journey by bus and boat to the lodge to observe nature. Arrive and get acquainted with the lodge and personnel. This afternoon, Hike to the 40-meter scaffolding Canopy Tower where you will catch spectacular views from atop the vast expanses of standing forest cut by the Tambopata River winding through the middle. Now and then toucans, parrots, or macaws are seen flying over the horizon. Perhaps see a mixed species canopy flocks land in the treetop next to you. Wow, a great picture moment! Return to the lodge and have dinner.

DAY 8

Wildlife in the Amazon

We will leave very early in the morning to take advantage of the wildlife that come out in the first daylight and when it is cooler. A lovely boat ride of 30 minutes to Tres Chimbadas where we will begin our nature hike of about 45 minutes. Paddle around the lake in a catamaran searching for giant river otters and other lakeside wildlife such as caiman, hoatzin and horned screamers. After our activity we will visit the Centro Ñape, a communal organization that produces medicines out of forest plants and administers them to patients who choose their little clinic. Walk the trail that they created which explains the different medicinal uses of selected plants. Optional night walk when most of the mammals are active but rarely seen. It is much easier to find frogs with shapes and sounds as bizarre as their natural histories.

Puerto Maldonado – Fly to Lima

Today say farewell to the lively Rainforest with a boat ride and bus ride to the airport for your flight to Lima. Arrive in Lima the capital of Peru and transfer to your hotel.

This is a fabulous Lima foody tour and city experience that covers the best of what to see in the city of Kings in one day. Visit exclusive restaurants, trendy districts, top must-see attractions, and hands-on activities. Enjoy five stops spread between three districts that include a visit to an organic Peruvian coffee roaster and an intriguing fruit-tasting tour at a traditional market. Lots of fun tasting the famous Pisco, hands-on cocktail and cebiche class with a chef and follow with a gourmet lunch amid views of pre-Incan ruins.
