Travel through its pre-Hispanic, colonial, and contemporary times. This great city is known for its pre-Inca ruins spread through the city and historical sites. A visit to the Larco Museum housed in an 18th-century viceroyalty mansion exhibiting pre-Columbian Peru art, silver, and gold.

ITINERARY

This morning, we will begin the Lima City Tour from your hotel, exploring the city known as the City of Kings. We will drive through the modern suburbs of Miraflores and San Isidro, briefly stopping to admire the exterior of the Huaca Pucllana. This pre-Inca pyramid-shaped temple has gracefully endured the expansion of modern civilization over time.

Afterward, we will continue our journey, taking in the sights of Olive Grove Park and the Financial Center, allowing you to appreciate their beauty and significance.

Continue to the Historical Center to start your walking tour from Plaza San Martin admiring the 16th-century Spanish colony architecture, and observing the Plaza Mayor, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop`s Palace, the City Hall, and the Desamparados Train Station. Our final visit to the Lima historical center will be to the San Francisco Catacombs.

Next, we move on to the Larco Museum to have a delicious Peruvian lunch at the cafe. After lunch, we will tour the museum to see the incredible displays of Peruvian history from different ancient civilizations. Following a phenomenal experience in Lima, Peru, we will leave you at your hotel.
