ITINERARY

Lima day trips are an introduction to the culture and history of the inhabitants of the coastal city in Peru.

This morning or afternoon we start off from your hotel for a wonderful tour of Lima the capital of Peru known as the city of Kings. Drive by the modern suburbs of Miraflores and San Isidro and visit the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca pyramid shape temple that has survived the expansion of modern civilization.

Observe the Olive Grove Park and the Financial Center. Continue to the Historical Center to start your walking tour from Plaza San Martin admiring the 16th-century Spanish colony architecture, and observing the Plaza Mayor, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop`s Palace, the City Hall, and the Desamparados Train Station.

Our final visit to the Lima historical center will be to the San Francisco Catacombs. Next, we move on to the Barranco district where many famous artists reside. Take a stroll around Barranco sightseeing the colonial architecture and many cafes and art galleries. Return to your hotel.
