ITINERARY:

Your Lima City Tour and Huaca Pucllana begins with pickup from your hotel in Lima, in the morning or afternoon. The tour combines archaeological, colonial, and contemporary landmarks to introduce you to the history and culture of Lima, Peru.

Huaca Pucllana and Modern Lima

We begin by driving through the modern districts of Miraflores and San Isidro before visiting Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca archaeological site and ceremonial center located in the middle of modern Lima.

Here, you will learn about the history and significance of this ancient site and its connection to the early inhabitants of the Lima region.

We then continue through San Isidro, passing the historic El Olivar olive grove and Lima’s financial district, providing a contrast between the ancient archaeological heritage of Huaca Pucllana and the modern city of Lima.

Lima Historic Center

We continue to the Historic Center of Lima for a walking tour beginning at Plaza San Martín. This area preserves some of the most important examples of Lima’s colonial architecture and history.
